Because the IdeaPad and Slim series span everything from $300 entry-level plastic budget laptops to $1,200 premium aluminum models, replacement parts vary wildly in cost. The prices below are strictly estimated starting ranges. An accurate, final quote can only be provided after a hands-on physical inspection and diagnostic at our Seattle shop.

Diagnostic & Checkup
Free - $49
Standard over-the-counter physical inspections and software tests are completely free. If your laptop requires a full teardown to test a dead motherboard or liquid spill, a $49 bench fee applies, which is fully credited to your repair if you proceed.
Hinge & Chassis Repair
Est. $99 - $189+
Labor to disassemble the screen and lower chassis. Depending on the damage, we either permanently rebuild the broken screw mounts using industrial epoxy (cheaper) or completely replace the plastic back cover / palmrest (higher cost depending on parts).
Screen Replacement
Est. $129 - $249+
Includes the exact-match OEM replacement panel and installation labor. Standard 1080p non-touch screens on budget IdeaPads are very affordable. Higher-resolution IPS panels found on modern Lenovo Slim models cost slightly more to source.
Speed Upgrades & Software
Est. $79 - $149+
Covers switching out of S-Mode, removing popup viruses, clearing Lenovo bloatware, or labor to clone your data to a faster SSD. Physical hardware upgrades (like buying a 1TB SSD) are quoted separately based on capacity.
