Who We Serve

Rugged IT Solutions

ThinkPads are the gold standard for durability, but heavy daily abuse takes its toll. From the ultra-thin X1 Carbon to the heavy-duty P-Series workstations, we provide schematic-level repairs that standard IT departments cannot handle in-house.

Hardware Services

  • USB-C & Thunderbolt Soldering

Lenovo USB-C charging ports are notorious for wearing out or physically breaking off internally. We perform advanced micro-soldering to replace the port directly on the logic board, saving you from a costly motherboard replacement.

  • Keyboard Spill & TrackPoint Repair

While ThinkPad keyboards are spill-resistant, heavy liquid damage still shorts them out. We replace faulty keyboards, dead TrackPoints, and sticky multi-touch trackpads to restore factory typing response.

  • Chassis & Screen Hinge Rebuilds

Fixing shattered screens, dead backlight circuits, and repairing structural damage to the magnesium alloy/carbon fiber hinges after a heavy drop.

  • Internal Battery Replacements

Replacing worn-out internal batteries or swollen cells that are pushing up against the palmrest to restore your all-day business battery life.

Software Services

  • Windows / Linux Dual-Boot Support

Many developers use ThinkPads for dual-booting. We fix broken GRUB bootloaders, partition errors, and UEFI/Secure Boot lockouts causing the machine not to start.

  • Lenovo Vantage & Driver Conflicts

Resolving blue screens (BSOD) caused by faulty Lenovo Vantage updates, audio driver conflicts, or malfunctioning power management software by debloating the OS.

  • BIOS Flashing & Recovery

Fixing bricked motherboards resulting from failed Lenovo system firmware updates by manually flashing the BIOS chip using specialized EEPROM programmers.

  • Data Recovery & Backup

If your system board completely dies, we offer data-first extraction, securely migrating your essential work files from your NVMe SSD to external drives.

Pricing Estimates

Crucial Caveat: Estimated Ranges Only

Because the Lenovo ThinkPad line spans decades of wildly different configurations—from the flagship X1 Carbon and rugged T-Series to the workstation P-Series—the prices below are strictly estimated starting ranges. A highly accurate, finalized quote can only be provided after a hands-on physical inspection and diagnostic at our Seattle shop.

01. Diagnostic Fees
Free - $49
Standard diagnostics and physical inspections are completely free. If your ThinkPad requires deep teardown to identify a motherboard short or assess severe liquid damage, a $49 bench fee applies. This fee is fully credited toward your repair cost if you choose to proceed.
02. Port Micro-Soldering
Est. $129 - $199+
Instead of replacing a $500-$1000 motherboard, we desolder the broken USB-C or Thunderbolt charging port and solder a brand new OEM port directly to the logic board. This highly specialized labor requires precision microscope equipment and time.
03. Screen Replacement
Est. $169 - $349+
Includes the exact-match OEM panel and labor. Standard 1080p non-touch panels (common in older T-series) are more affordable. However, touchscreen digitizers or high-resolution 4K/OLED panels (found in X1 Carbons and P-series) will cost significantly more.
04. Keyboard Replacement
Est. $99 - $189+
ThinkPad keyboards with the integrated TrackPoint are unique. In older models, they are easily swappable from the top. In modern ultra-thins (like the X1), replacing the keyboard requires a complete teardown of the motherboard and battery, increasing labor costs.
