The HP Spectre line utilizes expensive, proprietary parts (such as custom OLED panels bonded to specific aluminum housings) that change radically every generation. Because of this luxury build, the prices below are strictly estimated starting ranges. An accurate, finalized quote can only be provided after a hands-on physical inspection and diagnostic at our Seattle shop.

Diagnostic Fees
Free - $49
Standard diagnostics are completely free. Because of the extremely fragile nature of the Spectre's bottom cover and rubber feet, if your laptop requires deep disassembly to test a motherboard short or liquid spill, a $49 bench fee applies. This is fully credited to your repair.
OLED Screen Replacement
Est. $299 - $599+
Unlike standard laptops, Spectre screens cannot be separated. The glass digitizer, OLED/IPS panel, and aluminum back cover are glued as a single expensive assembly. The cost is highly dependent on whether your specific generation uses standard 1080p, 4K, or OLED technology.
Motherboard Micro-Soldering
Est. $149 - $249+
If the unique angled Thunderbolt/USB-C charging ports on the gem-cut corners break, HP will quote a $1000+ motherboard replacement. We desolder the broken ports under a microscope and install new ones, saving the logic board.
